My husband and I are so fortunate to have worked with Elizabeth when our dog, Katsu, went missing this past summer. My husband had taken him on a hike at Runyon Canyon, more than 20 miles from our home, where he got spooked and took off. Being so far away from where he went missing was difficult and we knew we had to not only ask, but also rely on the community for help. Someone had given me Elizabeth’s contact because they knew she was local and had gone through a similar situation with her sweet Rose. When I heard Rose was found after 40 days missing inside Griffith Park, I knew it was kismet.

Once we got in contact with Elizabeth, we literally felt elevated in hope. She would call us to check in, got us in contact with lost pet crisis specialists, and even printed fliers and helped post them up all over West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Whenever we got a possible sighting and couldn’t make it out, she was there checking for us! As days and weeks passed with no official sighting, a normal person might lose hope, but with Elizabeth by our side, we never gave up! We continued to search and, after 36 long days, we were reunited with our boy in Hollywood Hills! After receiving a phone call about a possible sighting, the next morning we went out there and set up a food station. Elizabeth met us to help and arrived just in time to catch the reunion! The phone tip was right- it was our Katsu! He had been hiding out all this time, 3 miles from where he took off, but he came out of hiding for food!

We are so, so thankful to know Elizabeth and the good work to elevate hope during our time of loss and grief. She never gave up on us and Katsu and we can never repay her for that. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
