Review for Union Station Homeless Services, Pasadena, CA, USA
I have volunteered at the Union Station Homeless Services Thanksgiving Dinner for the past 3-4 years, which is a monumental event. Over 2,500 homeless and lower-income members of the Greater Pasadena community are provided with a free dinner, as well as entertainment and community resources. I've never seen or been part of a meal effort of this size, and the gratitude of the community is palpable. It must be one of the largest events of its kind anywhere.
I've also attended the Masters of Taste event at the Rose Bowl Stadium, a wonderful fundraiser that assembles some of LA's top chefs and mixologists. It's great to support a worthy cause while sampling some of the best eats and drinks the city has to offer.
