I have been so impressed with their passion and dedicated work to improve access, cancer screenings and cancer care for the LGBT community. The National LGBT Cancer Network sets the stage with a warm and welcoming spirit, creating a safe environment where everyone's voice is valued and heard. They regularly invite individuals as well as representatives from state and local agencies together to identify and address barriers to healthcare and initiate policy change at multiple levels of healthcare systems, while being mindful to prioritize where funding will have the greatest impact.
