These volunteers handle these rescues with care, patience and grace, under a lot of pressure and in circumstances that can be quite emotional. They sacrifice a lot of their personal time and money to show these animals love and care, many for the first time. If you can get involved as a donor or volunteer, I would urge you too. Some of the nicest most caring people ever. I have so much respect for what it takes to work rescue and for this organization.
