My friend Marcial, still has his foot thanks to the hospital. At fifteen he got a splinter in his left foot. It appeared to heal, and then began to swell. He was so afraid of losing his foot that he only asked for help when he could no longer walk on it. When my dad finally convinced him that the doctors would not cut off his foot, he agreed to go to the hospital.

At the hospital he was given immediate care, a minor surgery and a short hospital stay. And all by doctors that care about his spiritual and physical health.
My mother then spent three weeks changing bandages at home, in order that he would not stay longer at the hospital.
Marcial is now seventeen and can work hard all day, thanks to the hospital he continues to help provide for his extended family.
