Whiskers was the star of my first trapping project, in 2002, with The Cat Network, Inc., of Miami, FL. This gorgeous boy was part of a 90-cat colony. Most of the other cats found adoptive homes, but Whiskers was mine! Over the years he signaled illness in my other cats by gently molesting them until I noticed the problem. His infallible skill led his veterinarian to dub him "DR." Whiskers and the name stuck. Little did I dream that by the time of his death on Oct. 18, 2019, I have would have placed scores of cats in adoptive homes and done TNR for hundreds more. Beloved Dr. Whiskers was king of my house and my inspiration. Without The Cat Network, none of this would have happened. Thanks to The Cat Network for making rescue and TNR possible by giving support to individual members like me. They are the best!!!!
