I first became aware of Alliance for Smiles at their annual benefit in April 2018. Instantly, I was moved and motivated. Founded by Rotarians, and now celebrating its 15th year of service "restoring smiles" around the world. Alliance for Smiles is the definition of enlightened volunteerism, and engagement with the business community. All their missions are staffed with volunteer doctors, nurses and other medical professionals. I have been honored, in some small way, to contribute via helping them "spread the word" through media, social engagement and political connections. Getting SF City Hall lit in honor of July's "Cleft Awareness Month" was something that, I hope, helped further the cause. -- David Perry, David Perry & Associates, Inc.
