We are a softball league for people with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Our unique league for people with special needs, never dreamed they could be part of a team or for that matter play softball, but they are doing it!! While some may think their challenges inhibit them, we prove they can play the game of softball. Everyone gets a chance to hit the ball, run the bases and play the field with the help of our extraordinary team of volunteers. Most importantly, they are developing social skills, strengthening their arms & legs by hitting the ball, running and gaining hand/eye coordination and being a part of a team. Everyone is equal. No competitiveness. No teasing. They can just be themselves!
It is truly a "special" league , one that makes your heart warm.
