My friend received a dog from Fidos a few years ago. He helps her with stuff like opening doors, picking up things, taking off shoes and jackets, and carrying things. He lays quietly under tables or beside her when we go out. He is so quiet that sometimes I forget he's there!

She also volunteers there. I really like seeing demos when several people show things their dogs do to help them and therapy dog owners talk about where they visit. Sometimes puppy raisers are there and talk about the puppy they have. It's fun when we get to pet the therapy dogs and puppies!

I've seen her life change after starting there and getting her dog. She goes out more and does more. I think Fidos is a great service dog and therapy dog organization!
