I cannot overstate the importance of the work the Southern Center does and the sophistication, humanity, and doggedness with which they do it. I am continually impressed by the amount this relatively small organization is able to accomplish with a relatively small budget. They seem always to be at the forefront of their work in the criminal justice system and ready to tackle new issues and take on new cases as needs arise. I no longer live in the Southeast and am unable to be as involved with the organization as I once was, but I gladly continue to support them in their critical work.
