TTR Warrior Camp October 2019 participant. I was an Army Combat Photographer in Afghanistan in 2002-03. I was expecting a week of time spent with other Combat Veterans and maybe an introduction to EMDR. What I took out of that week was life changing. The whole body approach- yoga, Equine group & individual therapy, Narrative Medicine writing, Sweat Lodge education - was such a different and amazing experience. I allowed myself to be open to change and it happened. After 19 years, 10 in traditional VA treatment, I am finally able to take photos again after only 1 week at Warrior Camp. Something that I never thought I would do with excitement again. Thank you to Eva and her team.
