Traveling Players was the first place I worked after graduating college. That was 12 years ago and I'm still with the company. I grew as a teacher and guide for young people, and while I grew in those roles, I saw myself becoming a better actor. I learned so much from those kids! Then I became the director of the High School Ensemble, one of the leaders of the camp, and a role model for so many great teenagers summer after summer. The kids kept me coming back. They're amazing. Passionate about theater and willing to be pushed. Open-minded, adaptable, resourceful, and compassionate. These are qualities that Traveling Players brings out in our ensembles and positively reinforces every day. We challenge the kids. And we do it in an environment of celebrating all of our strengths and weaknesses so that people can be themselves and see how important they are as a member of the team.
