I was following Little Wanderers NYC on Facebook. My older cat had recently lost his sibling. I could see how lonely he was. He’s a super social sweet tempered cat and I thought we could foster. We could foster and see how it went and if it didn’t work out we would make sure that this cat whoever it was wound up in a really good home but we could be a port in the storm for a cat. Then we saw a video of this scrawny little cat, who was clearly injured. That was the cat we could help. It was right before Thanksgiving. He had bilateral hip surgery – all taken care of by Little Wanderers. But such a sweet little cat. He slid right into our home and became our family. Several months later we foster failed again. Now I have three cats. Two young ones and my sweet older cat . Little Wanderers created our family.
