I'm in Kelowna, B.C., Canada. I follow many hundreds of rescues including LWNYC. I once saw a woman asking for help in a Long Island forum for a very sick cat in Queens. I hooked her up with LWNYC and contacted them myself at the same time.
They were happy to assist without hesitation.
I'm always blown away by how many emergency situations they deal with sometimes daily! I'm in rescue myself and find them to be miraculous. Excellent source of supportice volunteers, and the power of amazing social media skills.
They can rescue like I've never seen before.
