I came to ROSES in 2005 as a Farrier. I was immediately impressed by the program’s attention to details; most importantly safety. After working with the horses for a year my daughter began to volunteer with the students. I credit the programs and Joan Twining as an important part of my daughter’s maturity and confidence. As I the program grew I began to volunteer myself. I saw first hand how ROSES writes a lesson plan for each individual student. Every week was another story of growth for her students. I saw how the family of these special people knew that their child was in a loving, caring and growing environment. ROSES is truly a special place and program
