I met Rod Cordoza from AAi a couple of years back. Our first event was at a soup kitchen feeding the homeless. He is a very energetic and passionate person who has taken initiatives to build the bridges among the communities. He and AAI has been sponsoring several events a year with Evergreen Islamic Center and other Jewish Temples and Churches. This has brought the community together and initiated dialogs and reliance on each other during hard time. EIC members along with Rod visited several synagogues and expressed solidarity when there were shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue. Similarly we at Muslim community received support from our Jewish/Christian community during Christchurch shooting. I wholeheartedly support the initiatives of AAi and participate whenever I can. Organizations like these are the glue to build interfaith communities and remove any hate and xenophobias. So far AAi has been doing a great job and wish it continued success.
