Amal Alliance, Inc. is one of our grantees who we funded in 2017 for their work, which empowers displaced youth through alternative education and social development programs at refugee camps all around the globe. As a result of our seed funding they were able to serve 400 children and gain a myriad of media attention through varying speaking engagements. Because the refugee crisis is incredibly challenging - and horrific - one might think that the project leads would be overwhelmed and distraught. Amal Alliance stands in the face of hardship and leads opportunities for those who find themselves at the crux of it all.
