I have seen and met so many people who's lives have been changed by the work of Conviventia in Colombia over the years. Their programs in education, income generation, family strengthening and humanitarian assistance are powerful approaches to empowering individuals and families to be the stewards of their own change. Each year when our church mission teams arrive in Colombia, we get the opportunity to walk alongside and support the work of their staff, and see how the students have grown and flourished. What an amazing blessing to be part of their work.

What I like the most about Conviventia is that their programs are holistic, and really get to the root causes of poverty. Through their programs in Education, Income Generation, Family and Community Strengthening and Humanitarian Aid, they are able to truly transform communities, empowering individuals and families to forge their path out of poverty. And when I have gone on mission trips, I can see first hand the incredible impact of these programs as we watch children and families grow and flourish.

This organization is doing amazing work empowering children and families to break free from poverty in Colombia. Their multifaceted program approach is addressing the root causes of poverty, by delivering Education for youth in their CDA schools, Income Generation for adults so they can provide for their families, Family Strengthening to assure healthy family dynamics and Basic Needs to address medical, housing and food security needs. And the most amazing thing is to see the impacts and success stories. The students graduating as young leaders that go on to lead incredible lives, the parents who can provide for their families in a loving healthy environment, the refugees and those experiencing natural disasters who find the support they need along with a smile and a hand up. I am so glad to have joined in their work, and you too can be part of this amazing ministry.
