From a modest start as a food bank in a local church closet, Foothill Unity Center has grown over the years into one of the most effective, respected and successful organizations, addressing the issues of food insecurity, homeless prevention, health services, and so much more. This is made possible by the huge hearts of our volunteers, donors and tireless staff. I am so proud to be a Board member at Foothill Unity. No one who needs our help is ever turned away. Foothill Unity provides food, job training, medical/dental care, social services, and so much more, all delivered with total compassion for the clients served. Over 90% of every dollar donated goest directly to programs and services.

I have been a board member at Foothill Unity Center for about 4 years. We have a dynamic, passionate Executive Director, a first rate, totally dedicated staff, and an army of thousands of volunteers. We serve the community in so many ways: We provide food, medical and dental screening, clothing & school supplies and liaison with social services. Plus, we serve our clients with dignity and respect. Over 90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs, so we don't waste the donations of our loyal patrons.
