My first experience with Fidos was attending a panel discussion and demonstration during National Disability Employment Awareness Month, where I was introduced to the world of service dogs and the selfless and caring folks that are the heart of the Fidos organization. I asked if they took volunteers. Two years later, I am a service dog trainer and act as client liasion (both volunteer positions). The work they do here is incredible; these folks and the wonderful dogs help clients to live fuller, more independent lives. I am honored and humbled to be accepted as part of the Fidos family and gladly give my time and efforts to their mission.
