I have followed HOP for a decade, really before it was officially Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue. This genuine group of selfless, hard-working, organized and effective volunteers do amazing things with very little resources. No matter how hard it is, they always make the right decisions for the horses. The rehabs I’ve watched over and over again are nothing short of miraculous to the point they teach equine professionals all around them due to the sheer volume of their experience. The horses are well cared for and excellent adoption options. They teach, rescue, train, and bless the equine community far beyond Appalachia (their main area). These people stand behind their contracts promising the horses will always have a safe place to land. You can trust that your donations are well spent when you support HOP!
