SPIRIT is a wonderful program, all the way around! The staff and volunteers are very welcoming and supportive and always happy and eager to help the participants learn and HAVE FUN! The EAL students are simply remarkable, instant friends to everyone they meet, no matter age or ability - when I participated, these teens taught me so much! You can see how much each participant LOVES to be at SPIRIT and how wonderful they feel when they are achieving their goals. And then there are the horses....so many of them were saved by SPIRIT from what would have been truly horrible fates. You would never know it, each has it's own wonderful personality and is gentle and peaceful. You have to see it for yourselves, when all this comes together, SPIRIT is truly a slice of Heaven on Earth!
