I love volunteering and working with kids, so when I moved to Boston I got involved with Soccer Without Borders as an academic and English tutor. This year, I have started serving as an assistant coach for the middle school girls team. Volunteering with SWB is consistently one of the best parts of my week. I love getting to know the kids, helping out with drills and scrimmages, and watching them grow into more confident soccer players.

The organization itself, specifically the Boston chapter, is wonderful. The coaches care deeply about each and every participant, and they work extremely hard to create the best experiences for the kids, whether it is through well planned practices, trips into Boston, or team building activities. It is a privilege to be a part of an organization that serves as such a positive force in the community, and I look forward to volunteering for years to come.
