Review for Beat the Streets, Inc, Antioch, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

While at Beat the Streets I established a great relationship with Ms. Tate and the other staff and youth in the Antioch community. I helped direct the facility two to three times a week where I met with the young adults daily and was amazed by the eagerness of the kids to want to learn and make something of themselves, but many do not have the proper resources to do so. This made me want to get involved even more which led me to become a Board Member and this is the one of the greatest opportunities for the community of Antioch to ensure the kids grow up to succeed and I could not be prouder to be a part of it.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have seen much growth in the young adults that I have worked with and also seen it trickle down to the community around the center as well. There is more drive and desire to make positive changes in their lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

If I could make any changes it would be to put a Beat the Streets in every city in our country because I have seen first hand the change it has made and believe that it should reach past just our community.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Working with the young adults that are determined to make something of themselves.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

have been great to work with and have helped with great resources.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand across the country and the world to help young people everywhere.

Ways to make it better...

I would have gotten into the program long before I learned about it.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting funding to expand.

One thing I'd also say is that...

We plan to be one of the leading organziations in helping young people reach a brighter future.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
