Review for Malawi Project Inc, Lebanon, IN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have watched the Malawi Project grow from the founders to the fantastic work it is doing today. The founders, Dick and Suzi Stephens, felt called of God to help the impoverished people in Malawi after going on a mission trip to that country. My, how that calling has been blessed by God! What I most admire about the founders is their mission was to not only help Malawians with food, medicine, hospital beds, schools and orphanages, but to train Malawians how to provide for themselves. I give the Malawi Project very high marks, the best of the best.

The Malawi Project is an incredible organization that seeks to help Malawians help themselves. Among the highlights of accomplishments of the Malawi Project are building schools, hospitals ,churches and distribution centers. They provide drip irrigation systems, mobility units, garden tractors, school books, tools and medical supplies. The Malawi Project is a model for Third World Charitable Organizations by having a hands off approach and allowing the Malawi people to be in charge. The Malawi people have done so in a very dutiful and admirable way.
It is an honor to be able to donate to this generous charitable non-profit organization. Rick Conway, Pres, Squire Boone Village, New Albany, Indiana.

The Malawi Project is one that not only gives food and provisions to an impoverished nation, but gives them the tools and training that allows them to become self sufficient. Drip irrigation systems, cultivation equipment, tools, medical supplies, mobility units and food especially in times of famine help the people of Malawi who have very little survive and provide for themselves.
I am founder and owner of a multi- million dollar business with 140 employees. I have watched and marveled through the years at how the Malawi Project has grown and how so many good people in the United States have rallied behind the cause . The founders of the Malawi Project have given their lives to the Malawi Project because they fell in love with the Malawi people. They say the Malawi people are gentle people. The founders have not benefitted financially, and have sacrificed greatly. They live a very meager lifestyle, have devoted their lives and have supported with much personal giving to help Malawians help themselves.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6.
Helping people help themselves has been the Christian based principle on which Dick and Suzi Stephens have steered the Malawi Project from its inception. Drip irrigation systems, mobility units, hospitals, churches, school books, medicine and classrooms have all been part of the plan to help the people of Malawi help themselves.
Few charities in the world have been established that have helped so many people in impoverished nations than the Malawi Project. The most impressive legacy of the Malawi Project is it has done so with an enormity of selflessness, sacrifice, hope, faith, charity and love.
May God continue to bless.
