Our son loved his experience at Camp Unalayee. It introduced him to backpacking and was his first sleep away experience. He was beaming when we picked him up and definitely wants to return next year - and sign up for more hiking time next year. I particularly liked that they organize the camp such that the kids are building skills to become more independent (cooking their own meals).
