I volunteer and advocate for The Pink Fund because I wanted to do something that would immediately help women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. The Pink Fund provides real and immediate financial assistance to women actively engaged in breast cancer treatment. To lessen the financial burden caused by the horrible disease and to allow a patient to focus on their health and recovery is invaluable. Throughout my involvement with the Pink Fund’s Qualification Committee over the past two years, I have seen and heard firsthand the positive impact that The Pink Fund provides through its financial grants.

I personally receive a sense of gratitude from those individuals that The Pink Fund provides grants, whether that gratitude is tangibly communicated or not. The Pink Fund provides a support network for individuals that need the financial assistance, but also equally need to know and feel that there are people and organizations that care about their well-being.
