As a 20 yr Stage III breast cancer survivor, I was looking to associate with a non-profit that I could donate time to and truly believe in. I found that, and more, with the Pink Fund. As with all organizations, you wish that you had more resources so you could help EVERYONE, but that will never happen. So we try to reach out to as many people as possible. The people involved with this organization are wonderful, caring people and their tireless efforts have helped men and women alike walk over the bridge to wellness. This journey is a very difficult one, and I realize just how very lucky I am to have had a good job, good health insurance and a GREAT support system . So many of the people the Pink Fund helps are not as lucky ... I survived, and thrive, and now volunteer to help others wherever I possibly can.
