My daughter has attended Traveling Players for the last three summers and it is hands-down our favorite of the many she has attended. As a parent (and former theater major) I love the high quality arts education - classical theater gives so much material to work with, and it has really pushed her in great ways. But even more, I love that she is outside and gets to do team-building and camping. Last summer was her first time doing the four week program, and the longer time frame allowed her to make lasting friendships. She's currently enrolled in the fall acting class and loves it.

I've been involved with Traveling Players since she was 2 (long before she was old enough to participate), as a volunteer, donor, and board member, and I'm positive I'll stay involved even after she has aged out. I give to Traveling Players because I know that every dollar makes a positive difference in a kids life. They have a robust scholarship program and provide transportation, making it easily accessible for kids of all backgrounds. And they have high-quality instructors and counselors that truly care about helping the kids grow into thriving adults. I truly can't think of a better organization to support.
