Coming from Yemen after the Arab spring revolution and having to leave my family behind because they did not have the proper documentation to come to the states, I felt disconnected and isolated from my homeland.
It only got worse after that since the poorest country in the Middle East got caught in a full scale war and consequently suffered the world’s worst humanitarian crisis!
Upon finding out about pure hands I was delighted to finally find a way I can help my home and my people with both time and money.
I have been volunteering for pure hands for 3 years now and I will forever be grateful for all their efforts in helping the most desperate and vulnerable people in the world!
