Review for Seec Corporation, Silver Spring, MD, USA
My son, who has Down Syndrome, has received day services for five years from SEEC, and was part of a then new project that provided experiences throughout the community during the day, including a volunteer job. The program has been successful in many ways, but still needs to evolve to address chronic issues that arise from a non-center-based program. On the whole, my son is happy with the program. I would like to see more done to secure at last part-time paid employment for him.

My son has friends he sees each day, has a comfort level with the program, and is generally happy and safe. I am not certain that he is challenged to learn and grow on a regular basis.
