My name is Nolan Ryan Trowe. I had a spinal cord injury back in 2016, that left me with severe paraparesis in my legs. Throughout my recovery, which will be life-long, High Fives has been there quite literally every step of the way, from my first unassisted steps in the CRJ HEaling Center, to the first time I was able to ride a bike that they funded me through a grant. High Fives is more than an organization, they're my community. CRJ Healing Center is a second home. I've always had their support from the inpatient rehab hospital, to grad school and beyond. They've helped me regain my confidence to excel in any situation. Now with a grant they've funded for an EBIKE I can explore the world in an entirely new fashion. High Fives continues to open doors for me, even years after my initial injury. In the spirit of CR Johnson and High Fives, it really is One Love.
