I am the president of the MA Assoc. for Gifted Education. Many people in MA homeschool because our schools do not have sufficiently challenging and individualized learning such that a bright, gifted, or student with strong potential, can thrive and be academically nourished. When I talk to parents about the homeschooling options they have I ALWAYS tell them to look at AHEM because they have all of the information they need both ideas for homeschooling itself and legal topical information. They are also a strong support group for homeschooling families and provide information on ways to get children together. I hold AHEM in the highest regard.
