We lost our son to sudden cardiac arrest when he was only 16 years old. John was always healthy and a three season athlete so we were not aware that he had Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation has proven to be a valuable source of information for our family and the foundation that we have since founded in John's memory. Not only is SCAF the premier resource for fact based information on sudden cardiac arrest but it is also the "go to" organization for survivors and their families through the Cardiac Arrest Survivor Alliance.
As a parent impacted directly by the loss of a love one from sca, I am blessed to have the SCAF by my side as I travel this new road.

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation has been an valuable source of information on this topic and has supported us in a number of initiatives over the past 12 years. I can honestly say that the success of our own foundation can be attributed in a large part to the help, support, research and information provided by the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.
