As both a parent of a child on the spectrum, a person myself on the spectrum, and a professional in the field, I've known OAR for close to 20 years now. I do not support research organizations lightly. Too often they are based in medical knowledge that is 40 years away from benefitting the average, working-class family with a child with autism. Too often they are the passion of wealthier folks whose kids have all their services needs taken care of...Not OAR. Their work helps the living.
