I am incredibly grateful for the generosity of this organization! They accommodated a large group of our PHS science students for the day in order to run a STEM program and a climbing event. We had a group of physics students and a group of environmental science students. Ramblewild began the day splitting the groups and bringing the physics students into the park in order to talk about the physics of the ropes/obstacle course with a staff member/physics expert. The environmental group went on a guided hike where they learned about maple production, renewable energy, and sustainable forestry.
In the late morning/afternoon portion if the program, students were able to experiment with climbing in the park. I witnessed some incredible team building and fear conquering.
Every one of my students reported that they learned a substantial amount over the course of the day and had a positive experience. Thank you so much for making this possible!
