My daughter Ella and i volunteer at Saffyre every Friday. We feel honored to spend time with such magnificent souls. The staff and the horses are beautiful beings. My daughter has learned the value of hard work and what it means to have a commitment. My daughter Ella lost her grandmother around the same time that Saffyre lost Caley, a resident of the sanctuary. Ella said " Daddy, i'm not that sad because grandma is riding Caley and both of them are not sick anymore"
Only because of Ella's relationship with the horses was she able to deal with death in a beautiful way and i thank the staff for the continued opportunity to be part of the Saffyre family. It does feel like a family and we are blessed to be part of it.
