Volunteering with GPM and learning about their immense work has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. In my opinion, what makes GPM a unique nonprofit organization is the holistic approach they are taking to global development. Meeting the local communities that GPM works with made me appreciate the great impact GPM has on their lives. Their focus on sustainability transforms the lives of hundreds of families in the slums of Mumbai and nearby villages.
