Roots and Wings recognizes the systemic gaps and inequities in our educational system that teachers strive to fix each year. They are willing to support Title I schools with children who need more opportunities to learn. This takes money, it takes passion, and it takes recognition for the teachers and students who work hard. Roots and Wings is the FULL package that delivers all of this. THANK YOU!

Roots and Wings is an amazing additional resource for kids who need that extra bit of support after the regular school day. One of their programs is "UPLIFT" this is a after school reading program to help students actually read on GRADE LEVEL by the end of 3rd GRADE! Our students have so many gaps, that they need this additional time. That takes money, and teachers, and extra reading resources, and love and support. Roots and Wings does not only give money, they give their personal time to come and meet the students and tell them how great they are doing as per the data they show us as the year moves on. Perfection! I can only hope we have the UPLIFT program forever, because there will always be students that need this extra support.
