¡Hi! My name es Daniela Julie Pérez Vargas. I’m 18 years old, a Med student and volunteer in Blanca’s House Ecuador. I’ve been almost a month in this pretty foundation, and I’ve learned more than I imagined before. I was on Mission 56 and it consists on hernia repairs and gall bladder removals by laparoscopy; working with health professionals from different nationalities was so exciting, interesting and funny, it was really a wonderful experience. Each person I’ve meeting here has accepted me and all of them have taught me a lot in a short time. Being in Blanca’s House (as it mentioned) is like being at home… in a family.
