GallopNYC began as a way for this horse lover to reconnect with horses in the city—but it became so much more. As a volunteer, I experienced therapeutic riding lessons as a beautiful team sport, with horses, instructor and volunteers working together to help riders achieve victories big and small. I was so inspired by this alchemy that I decided to work toward becoming an instructor myself and was certified this past spring. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this organization and feel like the sky’s the limit!
