Two years ago, an old friend Brittany took me out to the refuge on my birthday in December, amidst the snowy conditions. It was one of the best birthdays I’ve had to say the least. I was blown away by the animals and their impressive enclosures. You can just feel the love and care from Bill and the other volunteers that goes into the animals here. I have been a smitten volunteer ever since. The refuge is not just a sanctuary for wolf dog hybrids, but really a sanctuary for all who feel the happiest outdoors surrounded by nature and dog slobber.
