I am Nurse Barbara and I joined MoHope four years ago. I was impressed with the genuine love for people in all walks of life and the willingness to take that extra effort to provide for life's basic needs- food, toiletries , clothes, shelter, shoes and socks!-as well as health screenings to detect those under no treatment for high blood pressure, diabetes, open wounds, mental and dental issues. Some just needs hugs and encouragement and prayer. Some need IDs and help getting insurance or treatment options. Some need a sleeping bag, waterproof mat, tent to call home. They all need a whole lot of love of Jesus and we teach and witness to their spiritual needs. I have no regrets sacrificing my Saturday's and donating all my nursing/testing supplies, but the Ministry depends on the generosity of those who wants to provide for "the least of these."
