Review for Laurel Ballet Performing Company, Greensburg, PA, USA
When my eldest daughter was 5, I was looking for a dance school that would teach technique rather than get students ready for a recital. It was then that I was introduced by a friend to Laurel Ballet. I got so much more than what I was looking for! My daughter not only was taught proper ballet tech, but she gained confidence, discipline, learned commitment, and developed true friendships. A year later, I enrolled my younger daughter at age 3. Twelve years later my younger daughter is still dancing with LYBPC. The memories that have been made at Laurel are our fondest. Although my older daughter no longer dances, the life lessons she learned at Laurel will always remain a part of her. The excellent staff teaches these girls about commitment, and discipline. They learn musicality, an appreciation of art, and a love for dance. The experience they had dancing with guest male dancers and a full symphony orchestra is immeasurable! I am so grateful that my daughters have been a part of something so wonderful!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my daughters' everyday lives
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the beautiful performances LYB produces, especially the annual production of Nutcracker, which is performed in conjunction with the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
truly dedicated!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
be able to include the symphony with every performance!
