Review for DetecTogether, Westborough, MA, USA
My father-in-law introduced me to a charity. Soon after I lost my father to pancreatic cancer. Like most people who died from pancreatic cancer my fathers wasn’t recognized until it was stage four. I didn’t know anything about pancreatic cancer Until I lost my father in the message of 15-40 seemed to ring very true. At my father’s funeral I mention 15-40, their purpose, and the need to be aware of our physical being. If things weren’t feeling right, to get it checked out. My cousin’s boyfriend heard the message, went to the doctor and found that he had testicular cancer. After quite a battle these past few months and he’s cancer free, but at 26 he might have waited too long to see a doctor. There is a need for people to understand the risks of cancer, and that need is being helped by 15–40.
