We wanted to increase our donations to environmental nonprofits and asked some professionals in the environmental area to suggest the most effective environmental nonprofits. Ceres was highly recommended. Also, my husband had worked with Ceres to improve the environmental commitment at Wells Fargo and had been very impressed with the group. Thus, we added Ceres to our donation list, attended a fantastic Ceres conference in San Francisco and, last weekend, hosted an event for Ceres to share their work on sustainability with our community.
