As a recently retired history professor, I looked for a volunteer activity that was meaningful and satisfying. Working on the Greenway seemed ideal. It turned out to be even better than I had expected. Aside from the chance to care for a section of the Greenway, I thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff and other volunteers. Without exception, they were highly professional, dedicated, and hard working. I have been doing this since August and intend to continue.
