LEAF is a much needed bridge between research for ageing and funding. It operates in a field that seeks to shake the very foundation of life, recognising that treating age-related diseases requires targeting the ageing process itself. To do this, funding is needed, which is where this foundation comes. It educates and attracts funding for much needed research, and for this they should be supported.
