Lo Padres Forest Watch is a tremendously effective and important organization. I have been a member for three years, and have engaged with them on numerous issues and campaigns to protect the Los Padres National Forest and Carrizo Plain National Monument. Again and again, LPFW does what needs to be done to protect these national treasures, including extensive research, analysis, community engagement, press, effective commenting, and law suits when needed. LPFW is also lean, "down-to-earth," and uses every dollar well. From every perspective they are a great and worthy nonprofit.
