Review for Acres of Love , San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA
There are millions of orphans in South Africa living in poverty, abandoned, and abused. There are many institutional orphanages in South Africa that provide no love or family environment for these children. Acres of Love provides homes for these children - typically 10 in each - with house parents, medical care, schooling, and the experience of growing up part of a family. The money you put into Acres goes to help the children. Hundreds of children have been saved through Acres - emotionally, socially, and physically (as many children come to Acres HIV positive but receive anti-retroviral medication). Helping Acres means forever changing the lives of innocent and helpless children in South Africa.

...traveling to South Africa and seeing the poverty in Soweto, seeing the lack of care in the institutional orphanages, and seeing the smiling, healthy, happy faces of the children in the Acres homes.
